About the Job Opportunity

As a ‘Trainee’ at Replicon, you will be a part of the in-house legal department with the opportunity of assisting on challenging assignments from time to time which hold the potential for enormous learning and growth.

You will be assisting in document management, SaaS or technical product contract drafting, review of confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements and conducting in-depth research on the applicable labour and employment laws across various geographies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in research, drafting and review of commercial contracts including RFP’s, Master Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Statements of Work and other legal documents which are relevant to a SaaS based model of business.

  • Assist in maintaining an up to date contracts tracker and repository.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision and take responsibility for effective completion of the work assigned while maintaining high quality standards for the deliverable.

  • Assist in researching and summarizing the applicable regulatory provisions that may impact the business of the company.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Three years of Bachelor or Two years of Master Degree in Law from an accredited law university in India.

  • Sound knowledge of the current legal provisions, especially contract laws and the ability to apply legal principles in day to day drafting and reviewing activities.

  • 0-3 years of experience in research, drafting and reviewing various legal documents including contracts and advisories. Experience in software contracts would be preferable but not mandatory.

  • Very strong oral written communication skills and strong documentation skills.

  • Ability to identify and articulate own areas of improvement in terms of knowledge and personal competency and use other team members or external resources to fill these gaps.

  • Experience operating in multiple technology platforms, proficiency with Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint required. Strong process orientation and good analytical skills.
