Job Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, the successful candidate will be engaged on a long-term strategic intelligence engagement and will have the following roles & responsibilities:
1. Project Execution and Supervision
Write and review business intelligence reports which are thorough, accurate and clear
Process and analyze intelligence inputs from discreet inquiries
Ensure that public records research (media, corporate records, compliance and legal databases, financial records, etc.) are appropriately covered to: (a) substantiate intelligence inputs; and (b) identify new potential leads for discreet inquiries
2. Communication
Prepare clear, accurate and sufficiently detailed written documents
Articulate ideas in confident and concise manner – both verbally and in writing
Actively engage in meetings and add value to discussions by participating effectively
3. Teamwork and people development
Understand team structure, role within team, and respect for all members and their ideas
Develop constructive working relationships with the team and be available for time-sensitive deadlines
Mentor junior team members and new team members on research and report writing
Requirements
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (in management, journalism, finance, international relations, political science, English, economics, history or law)
4-6 years of experience, preferably in business intelligence with a focus on public records research and intelligence processing (discreet inquiries)
Strong report writing skills which reflect (a) attention to detail; (b) clear thought process; (c) lucid and accurate messaging
Strong analytical ability and lateral thinking acumen with proven ability for conducting thorough public records research
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Effective interpersonal skills – Good team player with the ability to work under pressure
Highly motivated and able to work with limited oversight in a fast paced and demanding environment
