We are looking for a Paralegal to assist with corporate and legal administrative work for Lemmatree. across the globe. Reporting to the Lead Legal Counsel or the Senior Legal Counsel, this role offers a unique opportunity to support the continuing development of Lemmatree, Temsek group’s venture-building holding company, which pioneers change through building ventures based on decentralised technologies and focuses on providing all communities with trusted ownership, sharing, and distribution of their data.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assisting with preparation and execution of corporate secretarial documents.
Assisting with preparation of board and shareholder meetings and keeping track of deadlines for holding meetings and making statutory filings.
Liaising with outsourced company secretary, if any.
Keeping and owning internal legal and corporate secretarial filings and records up to date.
Administration of the legal department (including managing all contract administration duties and administration of all legal technology tools).
Handling requests for execution of various documents by signatories of Lemmatree entities.
Liaising with notary public to assist with notarisations and legalisations.
Assisting with preparation of certified true copy of documents and affixation of seal / company stamp on documents or stamping documents.(read more...)
Eligibility and Experience
A minimum of 3 years paralegal experience.
Proficient in the use of suite of technology products such as MS Word, PowerPoint etc. and comfortable learning new technologies
High work standards.
Has experience in working in house.
Has a Law degree or equivalent qualification in a Common Law jurisdiction or a law diploma or Paralegal Studies Certificate.
Technical and Personal Skills
Excellent writing, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and manage own caseload.
Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people across the business.
Collaborative and highly capable in building trust internally and externally
Proactive in areas of identifying and working on legal risks.
