The Department of Environment and Climate Change, is the nodal agency in the administrative structure of the State Government for the planning, promotion, co-ordination and overseeing the implementation of Goa's environmental and forestry policies and programmes.
The primary concerns of the Department are implementation of policies and programmes relating to conservation of the State’s natural resources including its lakes and rivers, its biodiversity, forests and wildlife, ensuring the welfare of animals, and the prevention and abatement of pollution.
Applications are invited by the Director/Jt. Secy (Environment & Climate Change), Panaji – Goa for filling-up of vacant posts of Junior Law Officer under general category in the Department of Environment & Climate Change, Government of Goa.

Essential:
Degree in Law from a from a recognized University
Four years of practice
Knowledge of Konkani
Desirable:
Two years of experience in the field of Environment and Ecology
Knowledge of Marathi

Interested and eligible candidates may submit their applications giving details in prescribed format addressed to “The Director, Department of Environment and Climate Change, Panaji – Goa” so as to reach this office on or before May 4, 2022, by 5 PM.
