Roles and Responsibilities:
Helps implement Data Privacy Monitoring program covering key areas of Novartis’ business.
Demonstrate analytical and governance, risk and compliance skills to identify trends and themes of opportunity areas across business units.
Prepares and presents the monitoring outcome including learning within Data Privacy team on a periodic basis. Enables improvement of the overall monitoring program with help of learning and by seeking ongoing feedback (Stop-Start-Continue).
Constantly work on improving his/her own subject matter expertise, including that on Data Privacy. Working closely with Group Lead, CONEXTS Legal and Compliance Solutions to enhance expansion, including leading transition, organisational change, communications and onboarding of new or existing colleagues/clients.
Identifies and resolves operational issues, clearly articulate potential recommendations/solutions to local or global managers/partners
Minimum requirements:
Law / Business degree with recognized education/certification in Data Privacy and/or Risk Management.
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
Good knowledge and experience on governance, risk and compliance principles and their application.
Process orientation with keen observation skills and eye for detail.
Understanding of privacy principles, key data protection requirements under various laws and emerging risks.
Good presentation and communication skills with experience of working in global organizations.
