
Civis helps governments and citizens talk to each other about new laws and policies through their online platform. They make it easy for people to share their thoughts on upcoming laws.
Since 2018, Civis has helped with over 900 consultations. They've won several awards, including the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia award, the Agami Prize for Legal Innovation, the D-Prize, and awards from the Maharashtra and Gujarat startup summits.
The internship will run for a minimum of 12 weeks from January 2025 to March 2025. Extensions may be possible upon request and approval by the internship coordinator. Interns are expected to commit 8-10 hours per week.
The internship will be in remote mode.
Summarize draft laws and policies open for consultations and public feedback.
Research upcoming laws and policies open for consultation.
Practical training in public consultations and civic participation in law-making.
Understanding of public policy.
Students of law and public policy who are in their 3rd year or higher are encouraged to apply.
