Appraisal of project files and title documents for individual loans, providing legal advice on retail lending issues related to property, security creation, and title verification
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law (LLB or LLM) from a recognized institution.
2-4 years of extensive experience in property law, retail lending, and compliance.
Assess and appraise project files with updated knowledge on property laws.
Review and appraise title documents for individual loans
Provide legal advice on retail lending issues, including property, security creation, and title verification.
Handle compliance issues and ensure organizational compliance with local and central laws.
Draft and structure various lending arrangements with builders, and draft retail loan agreements.
Certify legal documents related to properties under mortgage and vet reports issued by third-party advocates.
Peruse and opine on the title of property owners; review and verify legal documents, advising clients on rights regarding residential and commercial properties.
Draft agreements including leave and license agreements, contract staffing agreements, service agreements, undertakings, declarations, affidavits, trust and security indemnity bonds, mortgage deeds, reconveyance deeds, and letters of guarantee.
Draft replies to legal notices and complaints received from clients and statutory bodies.
In-depth knowledge of property laws and regulations.
Strong analytical and appraisal skills.
Excellent drafting and documentation skills.
Proficiency in handling legal compliance issues.
Ability to provide sound legal advice and opinions.
Relevant legal certifications are a plus
Provisions of Transfer of Property Act, Indian Companies Act, SARFAESI Act, Indian Registration Act, Indian Stamps Act, RERA Act, and other local laws.
Property, business, and corporate laws.
Drafting various legal documents.
Excellent command of English (spoken and written) and ability to read the local language (Tamil).
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Patience and empathy in explaining legal documents to clients and Self-motivated and promote business growth through legal knowledge.
