Lead the legal function across the organization.
Handle complex legal matters, including litigation, arbitration, and legal advisory.
Provide guidance on compliance with corporate laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
Offer strategic legal advice to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure the organization’s legal interests are protected in contracts, agreements, and disputes.
Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Law (BL/LL.B.) from colleges approved by the Bar Council of India.
Distance, part-time, or correspondence degrees are not eligible.
Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Commercial, Labour, or Taxation Laws.
Full-time MBA, PGDBM, or LLM holders are eligible for a 2-year relaxation in minimum experience requirements.
Practiced in High Courts/Supreme Court or both, representing the Government and/or Central/State PSUs.
Served in the Legal Department of Central/State Government, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Public Sector Banks/Insurance Companies.
Handled Arbitration, Contract, Industrial, Civil, Taxation, or Service Matters.
Headed the Legal Department of a reputed private industrial organization with a turnover of at least ₹2,000 crore in FY 2023-24.
Handling high-value arbitration matters, including arbitration strategies and risk evaluation.
Experience with Permanent Machinery of Arbitration (PMA) regulations and AMRCD.
Drafting petitions, arbitral award challenges, and related legal documents.
Expertise in drafting/reviewing contracts, tenders, purchase agreements, and other legal documents.
Providing independent legal opinions/advice and coordinating with legal counsels.
Bar practice/District Court experience (up to 7 years) will count as executive experience.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of Civil, Commercial, Industrial, Labour, and Company Laws.
Experience in the legal setup of a large manufacturing or project-based organization is preferred.
