On 16 November 2021, Dr. SB Mitra along with Dr. Ashok Sharma, FCIArb shared their views on a webinar-Dispute Solution / Alternative Dispute Resolution which is part of the Legal Services Month organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry CII.
The session was chaired by Mr Anand Desai, Managing Partner-DSK Legal along with Co-Chairperson Ms Manjula Chawla, Partner Phoenix Legal. The Panelists for the webinar were Dr. SB Mitra, Dr. Ashok Sharma, Vasanth Rajasekaran, Phoenix Legal and Arush Khanna, Numen Law Office.
The distinguished panellists shared their unique perspectives on the myriad of options available under Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism namely Conciliation and Mediation, their strengths and weakness and the nuances of the Draft Mediation Bill, 2021 were also extensively discussed.
