NLSIU is India’s first national law university, established in 1986. As such, it was first to pioneer the 5 year integrated law degree, establishing the new standard by which legal education could be measured. Centre for Child and the Law (CCL) at NLSIU
CCL is established in 1996 devoted to child rights. We conduct research, field work, and teaching to realize our vision for child rights and social justice. We want kids to grow up to be better lives than we were, and especially the marginalized ones.
Coordinate research and documentation on the program's operation area, which is the right to food and nutrition.
Carry out the research to collect, compile, and analyze data to support program / programmatic endeavours.
Produce knowledge products and documentation from the conducted research both in print and electronic media.
Promote external communicative and outreach actions to interact with stakeholders.
Help draw up and coordinate various events and activities associated with them.
Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Desirable: Master’s degree in Law, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Ideal candidates should have 1- 3 years of experience in working in the social development sector including research and policy engagement.
Experience in creating high quality research reports.
English language communication skills that are strong.
Willingness plus ability to travel within as well as outside Karnataka.
Has good planning and setting priorities skills.
Competence to work well in a team, so that in the team and personal purposes are achieved.
Some good skills in communication, organization and time management.
