AISATS are seeking a proactive and dedicated Legal Intern to support the Legal Department in managing routine administrative functions and backend operations. The intern will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of ongoing legal processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal operations and to contribute to the efficiency of the department.
MIS Tracking: Maintain and update legal databases, tracking systems, and case management tools to ensure accuracy and timely updates. Prepare minutes of legal meetings, follow-up action points, and maintain internal trackers.
Document Management: Organize and manage legal documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondence, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
Follow-ups & Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external parties for document submissions, status updates, and timely follow-ups on pending legal matters.
Research Assistance: Assist in conducting legal research and analysis on specific cases, statutes, and regulations, providing support in legal decision-making.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the legal team, including drafting routine legal communications, preparing case summaries, and handling any other tasks as directed by senior legal staff.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
Currently enrolled in a law degree program (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from a recognized institution.
